The Villages
Currently, there are three villages in the housing development of Rancho Mission Viejo. The first village to open its doors was Sendora, then came Esencia and finally Gavalian. Over the next few years, the housing development will continue to grow in phases.
Sendero
There are 941 attached and detached homes and 286 apartment units that make up Sedona stretching across 690 acres. You can also find a clubhouse, 15-acre community park, hiking and biking trails and more.
Gavalian
Gavalian homes are built for 55+ residences and are all single-level homes. The residents are able to use all of the amenities of other residences and enjoy the country living of Rancho Mission Viejo.
Esencia
Esencia has 42 different models of homes available for you and your family. You can find both attached and detached homes in this community. One of the biggest aspects of Esencia is the height. This community sits atop a hillside that allows for some beautiful views right outside your window.
The Farm
Part of the 23,000-acres is home to some amazing farms. There’s nothing like getting fresh citrus fruits or avocados from the farms that are right outside your door.
The Nature
While most of SoCal has been turned into bustling cities, Rancho Mission Viejo is reserved, literally. 21,000 acres of Rancho Mission Viejo make up the Reserve. This land is untouched and will remain that way for your enjoyment.
Community Farms
Since the farm life has a set place in the history of Rancho Mission Viejo, it is only natural to keep that going. Each community has their very own community garden.
The Coffee
Rancho Mission Viejo has their very own coffee shop called the Canyon House. Here, you can grab a cup of coffee on your way out, or stay and catch up with neighbors.
The Harvest
Last year, Rancho Mission Viejo started one of their very first community traditions, the Harvest Fest. During the fall, the community can gather for great food, good music, and other family-friendly activities.
