The new ranch community of Rancho Mission Viejo is made up of around 17,000 acres of permanent open space to be preserved as The Reserve and 6,000 acres that will be developed into multiple villages.
These villages will be a residential and mixed-use development. The community is located just south of Ladera Ranch, off of Antonio Parkway and the Ortega Highway.
The community offers many lovely features, including:
- open space preservation
- a truly integrated community for people in every life stage.
- trails and parks
- open spaces found only on The Reserve
- convenient access to the highway with the solitude of the open air
Rancho Mission Viejo is expected to offer up to 14,000 homes, with a potential for up to 6,000 active adult residences and almost five million square feet of non-residential uses. Plans are underway for schools, parks, and recreational facilities, as well as shopping and employment centers.
