Ladera Ranch holiday events are the best times neighbors celebrate a single event. Most holiday events in Ladera Ranch are family-friendly and all are invited to partake in the festivities.

Holiday Decorating Contest | Nov. 1- Dec. 19, 2017 | Ladera Ranch
Any resident of Ladera Ranch is eligible to enter one of the happiest contests of the year. The Ladera Ranch holiday event that outshines the rest is the Holiday Decorating Contests. The contest has a few different categories like the most creative use of lights, best use of theme, most classic or traditional and best yard display. Resident judging takes place from Dec. 7-19 and all entries must be submitted by Dec. 4.
Santa’s Visit | Dec. 1, 2017 | Avendale Clubhouse
Santa is coming to Ladera Ranch for a visit with the children of Ladera Ranch. Families will be able to take photos with Santa as well as have a private chat. The event starts at 5 pm and goes until 8 pm with the line closing at 7:45 pm. While at the event, families are encouraged to bring donations for toys for troops.
Miracle on Mercantile Way | Dec. 2, 2017 | Town Greene
Christmas has one major event that kicks off the month in Ladera Ranch, the annual tree lighting. The entire community is invited to enjoy this Ladera Ranch holiday event filled with performances, Santa photos, cookie decorating, crafting, inflatables, hot chocolate, donation centers and food provided by local restaurants. The event starts at 1 pm and ends at 5 pm.
Live Nativity | Dec. 3, 2017 | Town Greene
The very first Christmas is celebrated with a live nativity. Live animals, Christmas carols, coloring contests and refreshments all make the live nativity event one you’ll not want to miss. The activities will start at 5 pm with the live nativity going up at 5:30 pm.
Menorah Lighting | Dec. 18, 2017 | Town Greene
The community of Ladera Ranch is diverse and Christmas celebrations aren’t the only Ladera Ranch holiday events we can enjoy. The Menorah Lighting is a Kosher event, in partnership with the Jewish Community Chabad Jewish Center of Mission Viejo. The event starts at 4:30 pm with dancing, music, Dreidels, face painting and traditional foods.
